A bothersome political thought...

Recently, Virginia Senator George Allen, a possible 2008 contender for the presidency, claimed that Rush Limbaugh, among others, had the pulse of the American people. Well then I ask this? Do the American people (to be interpreted as the middle, red states) really feel that drugs should be abused? Well people of Kansas, the Dakotas, and Nebraska?????? Speak up? or rather, just vote again for the same people who disenfranchise you over and over as they whip you up into a heated culture war that you can't win.

Maybe, we lost the drug war, when the people who should be legislating put on pedestals those people who are abusing drugs?
